Not crazy. That's a lot of working out, but if you've got the time, why not? Walking is always a good thing! Have you done the strength class yet?
ReplyDeleteTry and ease your way into it would be my suggestion. Doing that much working out right off the bat may cause you to burn out or make you susceptable to injury. Try for something once a day, for sure, but then work your way up to this plan.
ReplyDeletedefinetly try to work your way into this plan. do you have access to any personal trainers who can guide you in the right direction and make sure that you're doing the right kinds of workout to acheive the success you're looking for? the trainers at my gym are fabulous & a great resource :)
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies. The reality is that I will probably only get in the afternoon classes at first. It is still to blasted hot to walk a lot outside & I am not a fan of treadmills and/or indoor tracks.
ReplyDeleteMy main goal at this juncture is to shed pounds in a safe and healthy way. Once I am a bit more fit I will look into specific body shaping needs. I have spoken to my water fitness instructor and she teaches the classes I have listed above(except for the yoga). She is a great instructor & won't let me over do it.
What is jump and crunch? Is that an ab class? It all looks fun, just listen to your body so you don't injure your back or knees. They usually send out a distress call if they are in trouble.
ReplyDeleteMerry it is a 25-minute class that is a combo of jump rope (probably about 15mins) and ab/lower back work (the remaining 10mins). I'll let you know what it *really* is because I am going to it tonight. I am really looking forward to the 25-minute Stretch & Relax class after! :D
ReplyDeleteYea, I am not up for Kickboxing (or 2-a-days) just yet, me thinks!
I say ease your way into it. If you go into it too quickly your more likely to stress your body and that will have the opposite affect of what you want.
